Let down :(

I have lymphedema because of surgery I had to have following a cancer diagnosis. I'm 31 and get quite self conscious about having to wear a leg stocking especially in the summer months and have been searching for a less noticeable product to try and help with this. I thought I found it with this product as the image looks like the stocking will be more of natural looking colour. The image makes it look like you'd barely notice this garment on. When I received the product I couldn't have been more wrong. I'm so disappointed. The top of the stocking looks so cheap, the colour is not 'nude' and the image on site is most certainly not a true representation of the product. Having reviewed the returns policy, it looks as though I won't be getting a refund either.

Pebble UK Says:

Hello Holly, sorry you are disappointed with this product, we sell hundreds of these to many happy customers who re-order them again as they are so happy with them. I can tell you that the image shown is the Nude colour, I know this because they are my legs!  So they are exactly what you have ordered, however, the lighting on this product will make them seem paler, but it also depends upon the individuals skin tone. It is impossible to reproduce the exact colour of a product through a picture on a website, but I can assure you that for every product sold on this website, the main product image displays the actual product itself. In regards to the top band, this is specially designed for a soft, non-constrictive fit, so that they do not cut in, and they are made with flat seams for comfort, so we are unsure why you think this has a cheap top, but we do appreciate that everyone will have a difference of opinion on what colour is good or bad or what they expect from a product in terms of quality. For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot exchange or refund items that have been tried on, this is explained in our terms and conditions. This product has ben designed to give a more sheer, fashionable look compared to that of thick, hospital stockings, which this does tick the box, however, compared to everyday nylons, these will look thicker as they are made with a high grade compression, it will be very difficult to find a product in an open toe design that is also fashionable in this compression.

Good for summer

I had DVT about 7 years ago after having a baby and then developed Post thrombotic syndrome.  If I don't wear support stockings my leg feels very heavy and like there is still a clot there.  Consequently I have to wear stockings every day which is a real pain in the summer.  I found that these were quite a light colour (biggest problem with support stockings is their disgusting un-skinlike colours) and also didn't come up too high on the leg.  The support was good even though the fabric looked sheer, I was very impressed and my legs didn't ache at the end of the day.  Would definitely recommend.
