Pebble UK are proud to support Jonny Ball, a member of Team UK competing in the Invictus Games 2023 in Duesseldorf.
Jonny is an adaptive athlete, following 4 years of recovery from a near limb loss, as a result of a motorcycle accident. After suffering with 7 surgeries and a mental health injury to contend with, he is now in the process of representing Team UK in the Invictus Games 2023.
With sport being a key factor in how well he has done with his recovery, he says "I'm a better person, a better dad and a better colleague due to the power of sport". Jonny will be competing in indoor rowing, powerlifting and cycling, so has a busy training programme, and following advice of his sports physiotherapist (who helped teach Jonny how to walk again following his trauma), Jonny reached out to Pebble UK for help with professional sports compression therapy garments, to help him during his intense training and for post-work out recovery.
Jonny now wears Therasport Performance Athletic Compression Socks to help boost blood flow and energy to his legs whilst training, and uses the Therasport Performance Athletic Compression Leg Sleeves to help shorten recovery times.
Jonny has also served our country for over 2 decades on operations, and says " I am proud to serve it once again for Team UK. With Pebble's help, I can be the best athlete possible when it comes to the Games in September".
