Uniquely designed for mums-to-be, these maternity support shorts not only help fight varicose veins and water retention, but also feature a massaging fabric that helps fight the effects of cellulite, whilst giving support and stability to the lower back, buttocks, hips and thighs.
Built-in compression gives your blood flow some help to prevent the onset of swelling, varicose veins, varicose vulva, haemorrhoids (piles) and pain that can occur in the hips and groin that is due to circulatory problems.
Specially designed with a 3D wave shape fabric, the Solidea Panty Maman are able to massage the surface of the skin, smoothing the skins texture, eliminating excess liquids and melting away the effects of cellulite*.
The anatomical shape allows support to the areas expectant mums need it most, whilst making sure you remain comfortable with a non-restrictive waistband and expandable baby-grow pouch.
Please Note: This is a 'compression' garment designed for therapy to the blood flow, lymphatic system, skin and muscle tissues. Due to the nature of the garment it will also give a certain amount of support to the body areas it covers, but not enough to 'support' problems with the Skeletal Frame such as SPD or fractures.
Please use your pre-pregnancy weight to calculate your size.
*In the opinion of the patients, the garments was effective for the treatment of Liposclerosis (Cellulite) in 88% of the cases, and when worn regularly, enhanced well-being and generated a containment effect, as well as an increase of the diuresis in 24% of the cases. (Flebologia: Official Organ of Italian Association of Phlebology - Quarterly Scientific Journal, Volume X, Issue 1, Jan-Mar 1999)
Please use pre-pregnancy weight.
If size is borderline, go to the next size up (eg. size falls between M and ML, order ML).
To convert stones to lbs multiply the stones by 14. For example, 10 stone 3 would be worked out as 10 x 14 = 140 + 3 = 143 lbs.

Currently 30 weeks pregnant with my third and this has been the most challenging pregnancy. I'm suffering badly with varicose veins in my legs and vulva! I had this problem in my second Pregnacy towards the end but didn't know about these shorts, wish I had of. This time everything flared up very early since about 15weeks pregnant and honestly if I don't wear the shorts I couldn't get on with my day. I'm a busy childminder so constantly on my feet and these shorts make it so much more bareable, easing the discomfort and pressure. I can really tell the difference when I take them off at the end of the day and over night, as I don't wear them in bed, its the only time I can get my feet up. They can be tricky getting on and off as they are tight, but once on they are comfortable and I've managed to still wear them even when it's been really hot. I really recommend this product to any one suffering with vulva varicosities and varicose veins in their upper legs/thighs.

I developed vulvar varicosities at around 20 weeks pregnant and was suffering from swelling, aching and itching. These shorts have made a big difference to the swelling and aching (GP has advised moisturising for the itch, which has also helped). I found the shorts comfy and reassuringly supportive. The only problem is I am still getting swelling in my lower legs and ankles, so spoke to a very helpful customer service advisor who advised full length medium support tights, which I have just ordered.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I am 22 weeks pregnant and noticed recently that I have minor vulvar varicosities which get very sore and achey at the end of the day. I am very aware that they will no doubt get worse as my pregnancy goes on and so after much searching I came across these. And they're great! I have been so much more comfortable and really notice the difference when I haven't got them on.
Initially I found them a bit awkward to put on and going to the loo and having to pull them up and down can be a bit of a bind especially if you're in a rush! But overall they are brilliant. Very comfy and they do what they say they do. Not the most attractive attire but then I'd rather wear these than suffer with varicose veins!
Happy customer! :)
After 2 months of aching and discomfort from vulvar varicosities, what a relief. Can stand for about 20 - 30 minutes reasonably comfortably-before these shorts it was 20-30 seconds. Went out for a walk over 2 hours today and managed _yippee. They fit well, don't fall down, they are quite thick, so not likely to run/tear.Also feel a nice support for bump and bum ! The vein that runs up the inside of my leg has also settled where the shorts are. -And I can get them on without a herculean effort. Really pleased with these shorts , feel that I can now cope with next few months until baby is here. Hurray !
